With the use of the mother tongue, the pupils must be able to write their own ideas into simple stories or songs. Literature professor Merle Alunan adds what she describes as her own “creative” approach to the legal, conventional, radical, and revolutionary recommendations of advocates in their efforts to “save the mother tongue.” She says:
This enhance our tongue to talk in proper way. This also helps us to understand each other. And helps us to express our feelings or every thing we want to tell to sThe three experimental schools in Lubuagan, Kalinga, all successful, demonstrate how the use of the mother tongue was able to transform learning institutions into becoming top performers. On the learning process, the lessons must be drawn from the daily lived experiences of the learners and reflecting their culture and lifestyle.omeone.

equal rights, equal opportunity
All of us have the opportunity to have and enjoy life. There are no boss. So w should enjoy life as it is.
I love the ideas and invitations that come through Facebook and Twitter. So when shazbennett tweeted “I hope at least one girl wears a tux on the red carpet tomorrow”, I re-found an old newspaper clipping of me in a tux (thanks, Sue, for that clippings book) and replaced the blue-for-Derek-Jarman image on my Facebook page. Arranged a big vase of sweet peas. I wanted to dress up somehow, somewhere, for Kathryn Bigelow, whether she won or not. (I felt so nervous during the Oscar ceremony. And after Jeff Bridges won his Oscar for Crazy Heart, I ran down the hill to see his movie rather than endure more waiting.)

"Responding To Climate Change"
The effects of climate change have driven women in communities in coastal areas in poor countries like the Philippines into dangerous work, and sometimes even the flesh trade, a United Nations official said. Suneeta Mukherjee, country representative of the United Nations Food Population Fund (UNFPA), said women in the Philippines are the most vulnerable to the effects of climate change in the country.
“Climate change could reduce income from farming and fishing, possibly driving some women into sex work and thereby increase HIV infection," Mukherjee said during the Wednesday launch of the UNFPA annual State of World Population Report in Pasay City. In the Philippines, small brothels usually pop up near the coastal areas where many women perform sexual services for transient seafarers. Often, these prostitutes are ferried to bigger ships by their pimps.
Based on the UNFPA report, there are 92 million Filipinos in the country as of 2009 and that number is expected to balloon to more than 146 million in the next 40 years.
Of the 92 million Filipinos, about 60 percent are living in coastal areas and depend on the seas for livelihood, said former Environment secretary Dr. Angel Alcala.
Alcala said that “we have already exceeded the carrying capacity of our marine environment."
But as the sea’s resources are depleted due to overpopulation and overfishing, fishermen start losing their livelihood and women are forced to share the traditional role of the man in providing for the family.
Alacala, who also heads the Angelo King Center for Research and Environmental Management in Siliman University, said some women often pick out shellfish by the coastlines, which exposed to storm surges.
Women who can no longer endure this work often go out to find other jobs, while some are tempted to go into prostitution, Alcala added.
In an interview with the Inter Press News Agency, Marita Rodriguez of the Centre for Empowerment and Resource Development, Inc. said women are taking the brunt of climate change."Aside from their household chores and participation in fishing activity, they have to find additional sources of income like working as domestic helpers in affluent families," she said.
The UNFPA noted that the temperature in the earth’s surface has risen 0.74 degrees Celsius in the past 100 years. The 10 warmest years globally since 1880 have also been recorded in the last 13 years.

So what should we do to prevent climate change?
A very simple way to save some energy is by changing all of your regular incandescent light bulbs with a compact fluorescent light bulb which are more efficient. To prevent climate change, unplug electronics when not in use. A small amount of electricity is used even when a device is not on but still plugged in.Reduce emissions from your automobile by tuning up your car, inflating your tires, and taking it easy on the brake and gas while driving.o prevent climate change, wash your clothes in cold or warm water instead of hot water. This can save you 500 pounds of carbon dioxide emissions a year.
These are just one of the ways on how to prevent climate change..;)

"PROMOTING DIGITAL LITERACY,THROUGH ENGLISH PROFICIENCY"
English is an international language. And this language must be known by all people entire the world. Because this language helps us to communicat with other people all over the world. It helps us t understand each other wherever we are.
This also helps us to promote and improve our digital literacy. How?As I've said a while ago, english helps us to communicate with other people in other countries. Because most og our digital gadgets are made in other countries like America, Japan and China. So if we know how to speak english we can tell other people in other countries what we need, we can express what we want to say to them.So that they can give us what kind of digital gadgets we want to have. Then if you already have that digital gadget like computer, ipod and others, also english is still used. Because in using this we have to know how to speak english or either express it by sending messages through e-mails.Because in using computer, for example you want to research something, most of computers only accept english words,so that you can easily research. This is all I can tell about the use of english proficiency in promoting digital literacy.:-)

CHEMERGY: Chemistry and Science Club in Synergy
CHEMISTRY,is the science that deals with the study of composition and properties of substances such as chemicals. It is the composition of chemical properties of a substance. On the other hand, SCIENCE is a branch of systematic study especially of the physical world. While SYNERGY is the interaction of different things so that their combined effects is individual effect. And technology is the applied science.TECHNOLOGY makes our works easier. And also for us to conserve time.
These things helps in the improvement of our country, and also the entire world. By science, chemistry and synergy, we can provide a better technology. And some examples of technology are computers, i-pods, cellphones, different machines such as washing machine, television, electric iron and many more. These gadgets are all made by technology. And by these kind of technology we can enjoy life an make our daily task easily...:-)

"THE BEST HERO OF MINE"
Teachers are found everywhere. You can see them teaching, walking along the path carrying their things. But inspite of their great efforts, do we appreciate them ?Do we appreciate their hardship? How can we pay for it?
Teacher. Teacher is the one who teaches students. They teach us how to read, count, and also how to become a good citizen of the society. They want us to learn many things around us. They teach us to be a good person and how tohave good traits. Even sometimes we students are not listening to them they are still pursuing to teach us. And if we did something wrong, they correct us. They teach us to do the proper one. Teaching is also a noble profession. Without teachers, there is no doctor, nurse, lawyer ang other professions. They all came from a teacher. They learned from teachers, they known everything because of teacher. So we should do something for them and to make them happy. In their special day, the "TEACHER'S DAY". Even for this special day only we can show them that we recodnize and appreciate their efforts. Let's just simply discipline ourselves and listen to their lessons....
TO ALL TEACHERS OUT THERE HAPPY TEACHER'S DAY..WE'RE SO PROUD OF YOU....:-)

MY MODERN HERO ! ! !
We peple have special someone, persons whom we consider special and the one who had shown good things to you. And we also have persons whom we consider as our hero, and now that we are having the modern life, also we have our very own modern hero.
Hero. Hero is someone or somethng whom you can share every moment of your life. The one who comforts you every time yoy need it. And as usual the one who will do everything, and don't mind any danger just to save you. He/She don't want you to be hurt. And for me i consider my freinds and all the people around me especially my bestfreind as my modern hero. Because whenever I'm alone and feel like the world fell on me she's always there for me. The peolpe around me comforts me. When I did something wrong they did't insult me instead, they tell it to me. And by that they are teaching me to learn from my mistakes. And by that they make me unique. They are also reminding me to do my duties. They help me when I need help. That's the people whom I considered as my modern hero and this is what modern hero means to me. Because heroes are not only the one who saves your life and put you away from danger. It's the one who helps you to be good and to make yourself to be a better one.

PRSIDENT BENIGNO 'NOYNOY' AQUINO III STATE OF THE NATION ADDRESS
Every president who leads a country have the opportunity to gave their S.O.N.A.( state of the nation address). In which they will tell their ideas, the problems of the country they are leading. and many more.
THANK YOU ! ! ! ! ! :-)
Our president, Mr. Benigno 'Noynoy' Aquino, gave his state of the nation address last Monday,
July 25,2011 at Batasang Pambansa, Quezon City . The speech was focused on "wang-wang". Many motorist are having this kind of vehicle. Even late at night they are going out and drive on the road with their motorcycle. and this makes unnecessary noise that disturbs people who are already resting. That"s why many citizens are complaining in different police stations and even in radio stations. In which this is being announced on air. Then the president would like that this kind of disturbing manners will be gone. Because it creates such irritating destruction to many citizens. And I also observe, actually not all but some of the officials are having and also using this kind of vehicle. Then how can ordinary citizens follow this kind of rule if the leaders can't discipline their selves . They must be the first one to follow the rule before ordinary citizens.
I hope that the problem of our very own country the Philippines, would be solved . And as a concerned student I also want this problem to be solved.

ISULONG ANG BREASTFEEDING, TAMA, SAPAT AT EKSKUSIBO!
"Isulong ang breastfeeding, tama, sapat at eksklusibo". that was the theme for the lately concluded nutrition month celebration. By the way, what is breastfeeding? Does it affect a baby's health? Then how what are the essential nutrients that can be found in it?
Breastfeeding is very important for babies especially for newly born babies.Because it contains the essential nutrients that a baby should have particularly calcium which makes his/her bones and teeth strong. The baby also needs to take the colostrum that can only be taken from the mother's breast.and it's so important for the baby to take it because it is reach in protein,so why should we use powdered milk for our babies?if there is breastfeeding which is nutritious. So let's fight for breastfeeding and improve for the babies to have a healthier and stronger body. the end .. thank you for reading ...

a letter to the president
Dear Mr. President:
Before everything sir, i would like to greet you a very nice day. May you have a very wonderful and meaningful day.
It's my pleasure to write a letter for you sir. I knew that you Mr. President know that our country the Philippines is suffering from crisis. There are many problems to solve. One of them is fast growth of population. There are many people in our society. That's why we have lack of space. So, many people are living in squatter areas. And that is so sad that many of us have no space to live. Another sir is about the people especially the little children who are suffering from different diseases and illness. And that's because of of different pollutions around us. And i am hoping that there would be a program for those problems in our country. I hope that there would be a kind-hearted person who are rich would help them survive from poverty. Sir if you mind i just want to suggest something. What if you government officials would cooperate each other. Because as i noticed, many of you are fighting each other during meetings or sessions. instead of doing such things like that please just cooperate and concentrate about the problems of our country and have hands together, brains together to solve our country problems.
i know I'm just a student. but all i know , i have the right to share the hardness, difficulties and ideas i have. Thank you for reading my letter sir . And once again have a good day. ! ! ! ! :-)
Respectfully yours,
JINKY A. ARCONADO
